Thoughts on the HTC Thunderbolt?

Phones due for an upgrade soon, I've been seeing this phone advertised, is it worth dropping the 250 for?

The only complaints i've heard from buddys who bought it is the short battery life.

One of my roomates has a Thunderbolt. I think its awesome. The battery life does kind of blow until you root it and install a low voltage kernel though.

Oh ok, I know people who have the Droid X and they love it. I've had HTC phones and the only problem is the battery life IMO. I have the samsung fascinate now, it's ok but I dont like it

The incredible was a disaster because the snap dragon processor sucks ass and loves battery...

The hero sucks...

The evo's stock interface blows...

The thunderbolt interface is just like the evo's...

I just feel that HTC puts way too much of their bullshit in there...

I have yet to see a HTC phone impress me...

hater, I stand on the other side of this argument, Every motorola product I have ever owned, (3 before i said fuck em) have been shit and broken after 8-10 months.

My HTC touch pro, even though its old and hacked, is still going strong. I will be holding on to it until the right phone comes out that I want.

My brother has the original incredible, he hasn't had a single issue with it since he got it 10 months ago.

I swear by HTC products.

Motorola Droid 1...Best Android Phone To Date for functionality and durability...

IF Motorola would unlock the bootloader on the Droid X it would easily be the best phone on the market...One gripe about Motorola is they have started encrypting the bootloader after the insane things that were done with the droid 1...

Incredible's battery last about as long as virgin in a gangbang...

Yeah I had already googled it. Pretty good phone except it appears to be AT&T only with Verizon being rumors on the wind. I don't care if they corner the market and are the last carrier on earth. I would never go back to using them for anything.
