My friend swapped some prelude motor into his civic, and has a control modul for his vtec. When he has it set to kick in at 2300 RPM he keeps up with me and sometimes walks me. When he has his vtec kick in later around 5500 - 6000 RPM I murder him.

I'm in a v6.

Vtec isn't that impressive in my book unless it's a constant thing. Lol.

I never really payed much attention to ricers until a few weeks back. I was sitting at a stop light heading west and a Civic sitting at the stop light across the intersection heading East was about to pass me. Just as he saw me he gave me a dirty look and reved up his engine.

I couldn't help but laugh about it because that car sounded so poor with that chitty exhaust. Hes lucky I had my wife in the car or I would have turned around and ran him down. My wife actually gave me a look like I should chase him down but I couldn't forgive myself if something were to happen with her in the car. Her and the kids are my weak link when it comes to driving hard

lol so does mine when going stop light to stop light, but running down a ricer could turn into something else altogether. Might end up with an actual race or worse an altercation. Ricers around here are touchy. Fortunately there outnumbered though by Stangs and Camaros

Yeah, I usually race the "worthy" ones. Others just bug the shit out of me, so I do a quick burnout just to show em what it's got. That usually shuts em up.
