Alright here is the deal. The picture your about to see is of a guys car that I used to be friends with. Now I have seen this car go through some changes, but just saw it again today. My question to you is this rice or not rice?




Now this is a 4 cylinder, and he does have all the same wheels, but has the mismatched wheels on for over a year. His excuse for not puttin the other wheels on is how lazy he is.

I don't think it's ricey. Or non-ricey, it just looks like a normal DD with dual exhaust. The laziness is another issue altogether. lol

oh yea forgot to mention his hood is spraypainted, his entire interior is spraypainted, he thinks he is faster than a z28 camaro and his only mods are a ziptied together cai, and that exhaust.

i like how he actually has tail pipes instead of an actual muffler with a tail pipe extension on it... i.e. coffee can. its definetly better looking than alot of other cavaliers out there. the wheels kind of kill the all black clean look of it. and with the spray painted hood + wheels + interior+ his attitude(he can beat z28's) i think in the end it is indeed rice. but its like pork fried rice instead of just your ol shitty white rice if you know what i mean

My take:

Exhaust
Not too fond of it, it doesn't help him out at all. If he knows that, then fine. If not then it does lean towards the ricey side. But either way, it's his car so what would I care?

Rims
I'm too lazy go out and fix my radio, let alone my brakes. Laziness is a bad thing, but I don't know. Mismatching rims really isn't that big of a deal... just makes the rear end stand out more.

Taillights
They actually make the car look a little better. if it was red, then he should have kept the red taillights. I can actually stand altezzas on white cars, it makes it look cleaner and less broken with different colors.

he did get exhaust, not the very best first mod, but hes on the right track

i can understand not wanting to change ur rims, but not a whole year.. one saturday i wud jus get pissed and do it

i did spray paint my interior, but when i said all i meant ALL. door panels, entire dash, center console, anything that could be spray painted was spray painted. He isn't that good with a rattle can though. Not sayin I'm the best, but he is even worse. I regret doin it myself and wish I paid for a pro to do it and match my paint exactly.

If he took time to really learn about what he was doing he could make that car into something pretty nice for a cavi. He just rushes into shit, and doesnt try to learn about how it helps.

When I do things I dont stop to think what other people think about me. I could give a &^%@ less what others think the only thing that matters is if I am happy with it. When I was bouncing at the biggest club here in greenville I used to wear a miniture pink stuffed animal my girlfriend gave me on my belt right next to my handcuffs till it got ripped off in a scuffle one night. Never once did anyone have the balls to make fun of it in front of me while I had it though, heh.

Maybe dudes the same way. He just dont care what other people think about his ride.

Do you mean .002 dollars or .002 cents? I don't doubt he doesnt care, but I'm just interested to see what people think of this guys car. I'm interested to see what people think rice is or what rice isn't.

saw an older honda accord with a GT badge from a Mustang on the trunk...he did a flyby before I got my camera out of my pocket and turned on. Was a slow fly by, but my phone got stuck in my pocket.
