Drove a 03 Cobra for the first time.

Well I have a 02 GT. 16,000 miles on it (pretty damn good) and its all stock. I used to own a MALIBU. Haha I know, the only reason I got it was because I was 16 and thats the only thing I could afford. But since I got my credit going I picked up the GT a month ago. Love it to death although stock.

Well my buddy told me about one of his friends that own a 03 Cobra. So i was like sweet and told him to call him and have him come over. Once he got to the gas station we were at I knew it was him. LOUD ass car. We go out to drive around and look for races and of course we both get side by side and we gun in......SMOKED!!!! of course. That car is fast as shit. We stop at this car dealership and look at a G6 hard top conv for my other friend. When the other guy asks me if I wanted to drive it. I didnt hesitate and took it for a spin. First thing I noticed is that his clutch was very hard to push down and his after market shifter was smooth as butter. So I pull a U-turn and give it some gas. My god this thing has balls. Instant power! I love it. But the kid is my age and saved up for three summers and worked three jobs to just buy the car. Mad respect for him b/c usually kids my age with that nice of cars have them handed to them by daddy.

I definetly want to start modding very soon. Exhaust,gears,Procharger or KB, tune, suspension, etc. Man oh Man cars are expensive. Sorry to bore you guys but if anyone hasnt driven a

Cobra, go do it fast!

Yeah well even a GT will be a big step from that V6. Go with a 02-04 GT. I love mine and got a great deal on it. By the way great avatar

GT doesnt have the balls(you know what I mean so no 232 jokes) I want. I want a Cobra. I've driven GTs before.

93 foxbody GT vert
edlebrock upper intake manifold
roller rockers
underdrive pullies
pretty much no exhaust
stage 2 racing clutch
short throw shifter
not positive but I think it had steeper gears

not the best car to learn to drive a 5 speed on, but damn was it fun.

If I can't get a Cobra I'm gonna get a GT though.

My car is the slowest car I have ever driven. (sad huh?)

i drove a 03 cobra 10th aniversary and by god it was amazing that is the reason i have an gt today lol.... i had felt what speed felt like.

the 10 anv. cobra wouldnt of been an 03 it would have been a 04...

yeah they are fun as hell to drive! my step dad has a silver 03 cobra vert.
