I stroked off a Smurf....

Yeah, so today at work, we get this POS 1994 Pontiac Grand Am to re-spray. No biggie... Wrong...
This thing has the clear coat coming off in chunks! Its bad. Real bad.
Both front fenders, the hood and the front bumper. All of it needs work.
We take the job. Sarah is runnin' the DA, I'm taping off and wet-sanding behind her. It takes like 3 sheets of 180 grit on the DA and half a sheet of 600 from me. For what we do, thats a lot of paper.

After all the sanding is done, we take a step back an start makin' fun of one another for havin' blue, waterish paint dust all over us. I mean this shit is everywhere. My fingernails are stained still. Laquer can't touch this shit. It makes us look like we been elbow deep in Smurfet's ass. Plus, I made the mistake of wiping sweat from my brow.... I had a blue uni-brow for a few hours today... lol

The car is some form of GM blue that we cannot find a paint formula for. So, we eye-match the damn thing. It takes a few tries, but we get the color right.
In the process of mixing the paint, I manage to spill some maroon or magenta pigment on my hands. Pigment is much more dense than just paint. It won't come of. It wears off... I got these nice dark splotches on my palms. Looks kinda like bruises. Maybe like Tony's hands after a lonely weekend

my bro has a 94 grand am also. its red but the clear coat is coming off just like you described and the same places. its like a huge ass sheet you can tear off..

How many embarrassing sigs do i got floating around now? Nah, if i was embarrassed I wouldnt post half the crap that i do...I mean some stories are true, like tanning naked, but the lab fucking and spooging on my own chest....TOTALLY FALSE!!! lol
