Mountain Biking

Hey all,

Just wanted to see if anyone was into mountain biking. I have been doing it for about 5 years now and just got back into on a regular basis. (trying to lose a little weight with it as well).

I was about 2 years ago! I never rode hard trails thou! I havent riden my bike in like a year! lol

I ride a lot of single track trails in the area. Some of which are pretty technical. I hadn't ridden in about a year and just started back hardcore 2 weeks ago. I can tell you that was a mistake, my legs are there, i just don't have the lung strength yet.

Yeah I have leg and knee problems from basketball so I havent been able to do much physically!

Used to trail ride my GT Bullet back in my teenage years (haha like 4 years ago, lol). That was awesome. Did a little BMX competition here as well though I sucked royally at it but it was all fun. If nothing else, bike riding will damn sure rid that excess body fat and strengthen those legs

If it aint powered by gas, than what is the sense; "No pain No pain" and you don't spill your beer! You would be the kinda guy that get's crused by the "beer can from God" Mend your ways!!!

that's the truth. I go between 2 and 4 times a week and have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks of riding.

This is my baby. 04 Trek 4900 with Crank Brothers Eggbeater clipless pedals.

ive never done mountain biking but backpacking is fun as hell. nothing like carrying a 60+lb bag on your back and walking a shit load of miles then putting up a tent and eating freeze dried food... man i miss doing that. i used to be in boyscouts a long time ago. maybe my bros want to go backpacking some time.

i used to be into it big time. i still have my bike but havnt ridden in a long time. i have a cannondale raven with a lefty fork. its badass!!!
