Looked at the 01 Cobra

And didn't want it. Interior was shitty, the place wouldn't answer the phone when I called, and they didn't even feel like saying hello. So I said screw em and me and my mom left. Well we went down further North Military and went to Green Gifford which had a Competition Orange black rag top 5 speed GT. Too much. Almost as much as a brand new GT, but the light at the end of the tunnel. So they told me about this 04 atlantic blue GT. 40th anniversary, 36K on the odo, and around $16,000. Only 2 probs, and one I can live with, and the other can be fixed. Prob number 1. The one I can live with. It's auto. Prob number 2. Random missfire that was traced back to the tb. Said it will be fixed, and good as new on Monday. They just got the car in. So hopefully next week...there will be an atlantic blue GT in my driveway. Forgot to take a pic, but there were a ton of cars I should have taken a pic of, but didn't cuz I was laughing so hard.

ive seen 05-07 gt's for that price.... if you like the new ones. but thats alot of money man... get an ls1

i'll stick with the gt, mod it out, and drive the ls2 whenever my mom is feeling uber generous.

Get it man! you can get that auto running alot better! Yeah i will admit the fun factor is sometimes lost with an auto, but they have their perks! My next car will be a manual, but that is because i will still have my auto parked next to it!

Lol. I can live with an auto, and still get the smile I want. The interior of the 04 is amazing. I don't think anything, but the drivers seat was sat in. Inside if PERFECT.

I'm tryin hard to get it. Already got the visual mods planned.

Smoked headlights
03 black cobra wheels
shorty antenna
black spoiler like the mach 1's
mach 1 chin spoiler
and then lower it a bit.

I think that will look badass.

Then the possibilities for performance are endless cuz my goal for power is around 400-500 rwhp. So I have so many choices. I'm thinkin of staying n/a.

SLP Loudmouths
catted x-pipe
perf cam with a nice lope.

Think it will sound pretty bad ass

SLP is SICK!!! I am going to swap out my flows for SLP sometime soon hopefully!

Those cams get really expensive for those mod motors, but are definitely worth it...VT makes some good chit!

to be honest I don't know if I'm gonna go with fi if I get the GT.

ALSO I wish I got a pic of this donk. It was so ugly. Was an old Impalla with what had to be at least 24s on it, and spray painted in silver was the chevy bow tie.

good luck getting 400-500 hp out of a n/a 4.6 lol that will cost a shitload! With some spray and some stage 2 heads and cams its possible, but to get 400-500 HP out of n/a 4.6 will require some serious custom cams and heads and everything! Even if you raise the displacement! lol

I know what I'm up against. I don't even have the car yet so I can't really plan for everything I'm gonna do. I may even go back wanting a twin turbo...I probably will. I just need to get the car first.

Yeah from the step up from a 3.8 to a 4.6 you will be pleased for about 20 minutes. But at least you didnt think like I did a couple of months ago and think you could build a 4.6 cheaply like the 5.0s lol I have now learned and I still personally like the challenge the 2V 4.6 gives me! I just dont have the funds for that! For that matter today was the first day I had a 10 hours shift! And this is really my first job that I have had that I wasnt in control of! I should have lots of mod money soon, at least compaired to what I have!

Lets hope you can get it!
