I'll agree with everyone here and say that you should try selling the car before you just give it up. Actually, you should part out your mods first, then sell the car for what you have left over.
I just checked CL around my area, and I've see several '05 GT's here for around $13K. I'm not sure about around you, but I can't imagine you having too hard of a time selling it for that much (assuming it's in good condition with lowish miles). I'd say ebay/classifieds your mods (if you kept the stock parts) then sell the car.
