Ok, ford wont take the time to test it? well, check out this little video....
http://youtube.com/watch?v=m6eSBLY5pIA

all im trying to do is show for that there will be a market for the engine, with your support.

but go ahead and be skeptical its not like it would only take 5 min of your OO SOO PRECIOUS time. who knows it could actually happen.

the other petition i signed against ford, you missed out on that one? we were guaranteed that if we all signed it that ford would have to listen to us and give us our demands.

So anyways, im not the only one who has thought of this. There is an article about a 427 being put in an 05 i believe. w/o any sheet metal work.

I think its kinda sad that no one here wants to see a stock 600+ NA engine in a mustang. I mean really? How would you like to race and brutally stomp people with your "stock" car when they have a built twin turbo blah, blah, blah.

stock 7L>modded 4.6

There was an article in mustang monthley about an original 427 SOHC put in an 06 it was cool but to answer does anyone want a factory 600 hp mustang your damn right that would be cool put ford would have to put so much money into the development of a 427 that the cost for them probly wuldnt be even worth it on there part and by the way if they introduce the super snake theres a over 600hp mustang but for gas prices I dont think anyone on any kind of budget could even aford that were I live its $3.50 a gallon and I cant even imagine the price of that car from the factory

Yeah, that 427 was put in an 05.
Development? That engine was developed in the 60s as an over the counter race engine for NASCAR. But NASCAR ruled the engine illegal, and it faded. Ford has developed it....
Also, they have developed a v10 engine they could put in. I believe i posted the vid link to that earlier here.
As for gas prices, the car can be made to manage the engine. They have the technology to turn off half the engine to conserve fuel. This would be very usefull to preserve the gas milage as you would only use the capable 600+HP when you really step on it otherwise it could switch into gas mode.

but if ford made the 427 today, it would most likely be modular.. want a 427 pushrod? just buy one from www.genesis427.com and save ford the money and save yourself the hassle...
