Regular unleaded is currently 4.20 a gallon here. I paid 4.72 for 91 octane premium this morning. Thank fook I do 95% highway driving, and that the Stang gets decent mileage on the highway with the cruise on.

I was on topic. I want you to pitch a 7L mustang to me that gets 24 mpg city and 34 mpg highway.

Bet ya can. Try 4v VVT with multi-program EFI, aluminum block, and a lightened flywheel, you could come damn close. Expensive though.

So get rid of the other fluff that drives up the price, like the fake hood and sidescoop bullshit, yada yada. Give me a decently fast (mid 14s or faster) V8 of any size that I can still get 25+ mpg in the city when driving normally... for 25k or less.

I may risk the higher insurance to buy one.

Chevy already did it with the LS1. (yes I'm stretching the MPG on that, but that's what I want to see)
