7L Mustangs

Alright, since all the people I have talked to seem to be completely on board with a factory 7L Mustang I have started the petition! If your in favor, we could use your support all you have to do is post your name at this link!

Its that simple, and the goal is we collect enough signatures that ford will take this into serious account. (if they know there is a market for it, hell they might as well make it an option right?)

Why should we have a 7L mustang? Go ahead and try to sell me on the idea. WHY? Think of the consumer. Seriously give me your best sales pitch.

the inner salesman... hum i dont know what i should say to that... but why the hell wouldnt you want a 7L engine ??? do you have any real valid reasons not to?

gas mileage, unconvential, no point when I can get power out of a 4.6L. No real reason get it when I can be happy with my 4.6L. Come on sell it to me.

i think a 5.4L standard for gt's would be nice. or maybe a 5.0, which ive heard rumors of.

good lord look at the price tag of a 5.4 cobra image the price tag of a 7.0 no thanks not to mention at 3.29 a gallon gas ill pass

yes, well. im just talking that 7.0 should be a factory option :]
plus with technology now, the engine could be managed like some of the newer SUV's that shut 4 cyl down when not under loads (hwy) to save gas...

...people in SUV's also don't like to go fast like people in Mustangs do. So that idea may not work for everyone. Why should it be a factory option when we can still make loads of power from a smaller engine that is already here. Why should Ford use their money which they are losing by the way to engineer, design a whole new motor that won't be a success like the 5.0L, 4.6L, 3.8L, or 4.0L that you can easily get stock and make power with?

I have to say I agree...but I have a ? and I think this has already been brought up but I'll ask again...why is Nissan and Honda able to put out cars with a smaller engine that put out more or similiar hp than a Ford?
My V6 puts about 180-190 to the wheels and I have a 4.0L

My 02 Altima that I used to have was putting down near close to that hp with a 2.5L

Can anyone clarify for me?

They put more time into the engines than Ford does. Also the more time put into an engine the more it costs. The V8 is Fords best engine line. They aren't gonna make the v6 a powerhouse if they got a better motor in the line.
