I made four different intro's that were from complicated to complex, lol, and so I settled on the quote and quick beat plus it was easier to mix live.

I sampled some of Chrispy and Bassnectar's stuff into the remix. Chrispy is on youtube. That Rihanna Rude Boy song Chrispy made...I added Metallica's "Sad But True" to it, lol.

needs a little work, but overall i think you did a really good job.

i think the cackling gets a little repetitive throughout the song. the volume changes, mostly when speaking parts come in, are a little bit drastic. maybe try to fade them in and out a little more gradually? also, seems like the rhythm got a little tripped up in some parts.

overall, i'd give it a 90%, which is good, especially considering you're an amateur (i assume). you had a good vision when you were putting it together, it just needs a tiny bit of tweaking IMO

Use a live DJ mixing software, and record it out.

I've been doing some DJ'ing for a few big parties here at school, and I record all my productions. Use VirtualDJ to get you started...

But a decent mix none the less.

Once you really get the hang of it, use Adobe Soundbooth and Ableton Live to really throw some beats together.

Thanks. You know, I totally agree with you 100% lol. What I posted was my 2nd go around at this particular mix. The 1st mix, when I listend to it didn't have hardly any cackling so on my 2nd go around I over it did it in a few spots. Also on the 1st go around I didn't lower the music enough to hear the quotes from the movies and you couldn't hear them talk at all, and on the 2nd go around I lowered the music too much and over compensated. Yeah, I'm an amateur but I love doing it! Thanks for the detailed feedback man!

Come to find out he wants an Insane Clown Posse song added to it now so I'll probably redo it a 3rd time and get it "just right" lol.

Pro Tools but I want to convert one of my bedrooms into a studio with all kinds of goodies and new stuff. The stuff I have is out dated by a long shot but my wife got a helluva deal on it last year ($50! lol). liking it..just tone the cackling down a little, it seems to overwhelm the beat, and yes, as bwal said, smooth out your transitions.

they feel a little bit harsh.

personally, i wouldn't use the laughter more than once in the beginning.
actually, the more im listening too it...please take out the laughter/cackling....its killin' me smalls'.

nah, he has to atleast have some cackling.. that's one of the things that give it the halloween theme lol
