What's even more ironic is that the Red Wings play hockey in the Joe Louis Arena--an arena named after a black man.

How about instead of coming up with stupid ways to only escalate the situation, you look up the city ordinances concerning noise, and if they are violating them call the police non emergency number and have them send an officer out to talk to them.

SECTION TWO. Playing of Sound Devices Prohibited: When (a) No person shall play any radio, music player, television, audio system or musical instrument upon private property at a volume louder than is necessary for convenient, normal hearing of the person or persons who are on the property on which the device is being used or operated and who are voluntary listeners. (b) Except for organized events which have received any type of permit from the City of St. Louis in conjunction with the event and persons operating motor vehicles under Section Three of this ordinance, no person shall play any radio, music player, or audio system upon public property at a volume which is plainly audible at a distance greater than Seventy-five (75) feet from the source of the sound. (c) Any person participating in a parade or public assembly for which a permit has been obtained may generate sound in excess of the limitations in this section only if the sound generated does not exceed reasonable sound levels in light of the nature of the event, its time, and the character of the surrounding neighborhood.

Penalty (a) Any person who violates the provisions of Section Two of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100.00 for a first offense, not less than $250.00 for a second offense committed within a one-year period, and not less than $500.00 for a third or subsequent offense committed within a one-year period.
