No, tom was the guy who made MySpace. I read on one of his Facebook posts that he left MySpace bc he didn't like how the new owners or whatever were running it.

If you use Google Chrome, you can block the Ticker as an ad and never have to see it again...it is GREAT!

no no, the new owner is Facebook. Facebook owns Myspace. That's what I was getting at.

Facebook bought out Myspace for $30 million a little over a year ago I think. A shame since Myspace at it's prime back in '06-'07 was worth deep in the 9 figures.

It's irritating enough for me to be checking out google+

I kind of enjoyed the chronological updates, not the format with the most popular or "important" updates, then friends, then the rest of them (not to mention the other updates!). And I don't really care for my every move being blasted on that ticker box -or everyone else's for that matter- I had my privacy settings a certain way for a reason! haha

I personally kind of hope they revert some of the changes. Or at least give us the option to choose which format to use. Or better control over what we are seeing (i.e. ticker box)
