Now I'm not one of those people that freaked the hell out when facebook changed shit around and I can bet a lot of you guys n gals aren't either. My one friend showed me this earlier and I think this is really cool. I'll let the pictures explain but just by looking at the first pic, I really like how they set it up. Whats everyone think?

I saw someone post about that earlier so I googled it. It seems pretty cool. I watched a few vids on this one website. Looks cool, but then again thats another thing we gotta get used to, and they change their shit a lot.

They do but its their choice, we aren't paying for it, so I really could give 2 shits what they change. Its not like we all have to use it. People are just too lazy anymore and hate change but this looks sweet and I'm curious to try it out come thursday.

I just don't like having to get used to something all over again and it happen very often. If they were changing it maybe once a year or even every 6 months, no big deal, gotta keep things modern. However, they seem to change things like every couple of weeks. It gets old. A warning that a new version would be coming out would be nice also. I don't like getting on my computer the next morning and finding that everything has changed overnight without warning and I have to learn it all over again. Also, they need to make this stuff in app form so I can disable that stupid status ticker (hate it) and the stupid friends side bar (hate it) and the latest news (hate it). It's just annoying and 99% of it is junk that I don't care about.

The ticker and top stories additions are the biggest annoyances of all the new changes. Other than that, I really haven't even noticed what else they changed. I did go through and unsubscribe to everyone but maybe 20 of my closest friends seeing as theyre really all I talk to and interact with on FB anyway. I dont even have 200 friends on FB and it still took forever to unsubscribe to the majority of them.

EDIT: Holy fuck, fuck that. It notifies me EVERYTIME any of the said 20 people updates their status, without me commenting on it first or anything. I dont mind seeing what they're doing but god damn, I dont need to be told when they update their statuses.

Yea there are parts of it that are like it. They're trying to keep up like myspace did. Hopefully they don't fail, and have everyone switch to google+. I could see it tho.

They almost have to change it. For some reason, people like the newest and the brightest of anything.. if facebook still had their original design, people would've moved on to the next new thing a long time ago.

I don't think so. FB thinks that though and that's obvious as to why they are making these changes. I won't say upgrades because they are nothing of that sort.

What else is out there that is on the same level as Facebook? Shit even with all these bad changes nothing is better. Google+ was a big fail, IMO. No one is even on the damn thing really. Myspace has been long gone for a long time. Twatter isn't the same thing so don't say it, etc.

On the topic of bad changes. When they changed the chat, what were they thinking!? Why do I need to see people who aren't online and I can't talk to?

Myspace was harder for some people because they didn't know how to use HTML code or use google to find what they wanted. Facebook put everyone on the same page as far as setup goes, and a lot of people liked its simplicity. Plus, myspace got a bad rap from the media right around the time facebook started becoming popular.
