Rant (Women/relationship related)

Pretty much longtime lurker here.

So I've been seeing a girl that i work with ( for those out there never do this) and it was going fine for about a month. Now keep in mind i am in university and she still lives with her parents.
Now her mother has a grudge against my father for firing one of her family members. Because of this grudge i can no longer continue seeing her.
Basically this shit happens to me every other girl, for some reason or another there parents won't let me date them

how old is the girl? is she an adult? she should be able to make up her own mind about who she dates. if she's 18, her parents don't have that kind of control in her life anymore, even if she lives at home.

and fuck her mom. she sounds like an immature bitch.

If she will let her mom live her life AND her mom is holding a grudge against you for something your father did you are probably better off without her. Children are often a reflection of their parents. If her mom is that immature,it's likely to be passed down to some extent.

Why is this girl who I am assuming is 18+ letting her mother make these type of decisions for her? Does her mother still wipe her ass after she drops a deuce? Dude I would not even waste my time pursuing a serious relationship with a girl at that age who still lets mom run her life.

Sounds like your typical small town bullshit. Everyone knows everyone else, people are pissed at someone you know because of some bullshit that happened a long time ago for reasons that aren't real clear to everyone (but they're still mad of course)..

Still should have nothing to do with the chick you're seeing, even if her mom is one of those irrational types that blows shit out of proportion and never lets anything go, even if it isn't really their business.

Of course, like bigjohn said, make sure she hasn't acquired any of that permanent highschool sillyness from her mother.

Yes it is this typical small town bullshit. And i decided to give her an ultimatum of either continuing and dealing with her mother or ending it. She said she has to think about it. So the answer will be no.

Guess its back to being solo.

No kidding, i hate all these answers that can be interpreted in different ways, why do women never give a yes or no? Honestly we'd like it better for a yes or a no, all this running around is a waste of time.

They're just wired different. Men get right do the point and women have a flow chart of how they make decisions. Kind of like how cave men went to hunt for one animal and came home with that one animal they went out looking for, where as the cave women went to the forest with a basket to gather all kinds of crap. Today, nothing has changed. Men go to the mall for one damn item and go home with that one damn item where as women go to the mall to gather all kinds of crap and look at all of the stores. That difference will never change.

Take your time with settling down. I waited until I was 31 to marry and dated my share until I found the right one. I had a couple other women that wanted to marry me but I'm so glad I waited.
