I would skip the whole solar panel crap. I would just have the batteries and voltage circuit. Then charge the batteries later when you're home.

The solar panel is next to useless. If you have 2000mAh of capacity and a solar panel that puts out a maximum of 200mA, it's going to take you 10 hours to charge the batteries. When are you going to be out in the sun for hours and wanting to charge your battery multiple times.
