test drove an 07 GT

well my sister is graduating so she wanted a Ford Edge

so we went to the dealership this morning to buy one and my dad said to seal the deal, he wanted the salesman to let me drive a 07 GT, so i picked the one i liked.. a 5 speed that was a nice shade of silver between satin silver and alloy.. had the GT appearance package and everything.. since im just a little kid my mom rode with me though lol.. so anyways, i drove it off the lot, and thats when i noticed how bad ass those things actually are.. i mean if you BARELY touch the throttle it wants to get away from you and its sooo LOUD.. so anyways, i took it down some backroads and floored it a little bit then i found a subdivision construction site that was completely empty.. found a nice big culdesack (sp?) and i TRIED to whip it around, but to no avail.. i was like wtf? i thought these things had bawlz.. so then it i was like OH YEAH! TRACTION CONTROL! so i found the button and mashed it and drove back to the culdesack and maannnnn i really drove it like it was meant to be driven.. i did a good 540 degree donut.. it was so much fun.. and then leaving the subdivision i just revved it up and dumped the clutch.. i never realized how long you can actually do a burnout in those things... so then it was time to drive it back to the dealership

those were the best 15 minutes of my life lol

i drove an 07 GT and it was slow as piss... very dissapointing compared to my 03 GT ?

I've drivin an 06 gt with an auto I thought it was pretty fast until I drove my bosses 07 Shelby GT-500 (I work at a dealership) that was the fastest car i've drivin the thing was awesome if I had the money I would buy one

would u seriously pay that much money for a new shelby cobra?.........which is just a lil bit faster than terminators

i know i would not pay for as much as their going for right now...i also drove a '06 GT manual...the pedal feel is nice but it just doesn't suite me...on top of that im not a big fan of the current version of the mustang.

Yeah if money wasnt an object I would definitly buy one there awesome but I would definitly take a terminator too i have never drivin a terminator though

LOL funny you should ask.. the whole time she was absolutely screaming her head off.. i really thought she was gonna have a heart attack.. when we took it back to the dealership her hands were shaking like crazy
