Who has to work for memorial day?

So as much as I'd like to be at the beach, sipping on an ice cold corona...I have to work. I have today paid as off..but my boss wants me to come in and generate sales. More money for mods!!!

I gotta work too. And I work for one of the only places that doesnt have pay and a half on holidays. They want me to bust my ass even more for the little pay that I already get, when on a regular day I don't get paid enough to deal with the bs I gotta deal with.

I'm off today, with pay...But we have to work 48 more regular hours to get any overtime this week...And we don't get paid time and a half on holidays if we're on call.It sucks, but legal...Just depends on who you work for.

I too have to work. Unfortunately, it is an on call situation. You get paid a minimum to be on call, but get paid double-time when called in. Now I don't wish for any tragedy to bring me in, but the money helps put more horses under my hood. Hope everyone had a super weekend!

i went to work. cleaned equipment for 3hours. repaired 7 alternating pressure pumps. and 1 concentrator. took me about 2hours. and for the rest i had coffe and some cake, and washed the stang, and polished it up for the rest of the day on the clock.
