Remember the exhaust problems I was having with the v6?
Well I slapped on the MAC Catback that I was gonna put on the v6 onto the GT. Everything went well until I got to the after axles tubes, and the chrome tips. they don't fit properly. Major PITA I have had for the past 2 days trying to get them to fit properly, and then found out the problem. I think I got a bad batch. One of them isn't long enough, while the other doesn't want to go up high enough. So I said screw it. Right now they are dumped right behind the axles, and tomorrow I'm heading to a muffler shop so they can get it right, and put some 4" chrome tips up there instead of the 3" tips I have.

click here You can read all about it there. But hello 4" chrome tips, and an aligned exhaust that clears everything.

Well got the exhaust finished. Some of the pipes weren't long enough. It wasn't me. I had a shop extend the pipes, and weld it all together for me. It's great now, but I did complain to MAC about that. It was supposed to be a true fit exhaust, and damnit that fit was not true. Yea, it's true it did not fit properly. I love it though. A little louder than stock at idle and cruising but when I get on it...it is loud.

exhaust is just pointed down after the mufflers. For me it was right after the axles with no tips or anything. You have the sound of the exhaust bouncing off the pavement so it's louder.
My mom is hoping that since I complained I might get something. I would like to get a prochamber, but I doubt it would happen. |

Dumps are when you cut your exhaust system off right after the mufflers and put turn down tips on them.
very loud but can cause some exhaust gases to enter the cabin of your car
