thats odd... for my hs drag we couldnt have a car run faster then 11.4's Luckily with the rpm limiter, we could have kept it over 11.4's. They said we needed street tires... so i said fuck racing against kids with gayarues and measly civics/jettas. It wouldnt be a challange any ways.

I guess I should count myself lucky. I was in high school in the early 80's, and the import scene hadn't started yet. lol It was all V-8 iron.
And hush, 200si, I'm not anti-import, I'm just talking about....you know what I'm talking about. lol

Yeah you were disqualified if you ran anything quicker than a 11.79! lol Nobody was even close! lol Yeah I think the quickest of they day was a 12.01 from a twin turbo 98 cobra pushing 6 psi after I look back!

A guy I went to high school had a bright orange, all glass, pro street 66 Chevy II that ran 9.9's on slicks with a N/A roller 350, a 4 speed Lenco, and a Dana. It was one of the first cars in our area with no chrome on it, it was all orange, and looked amazing with Weld rims.
