Have people lost all sense of manners?

I just got off work and I was kind of hungry so I went to Wendy's drive through. I was 3 cars back from the speaker and as I was sitting there I see a Wendy's worker pull a water hose out. I then saw him inching towards me, and all I could think of was "This guys better not be coming over here with that thing." Sure enough he comes maybe 3 feet from my car and starts spraying the ground around me with water hosing the cement slab off. This instantly pissed me off and all I could think was that my detail job is now fucked. He then walks up to the other cars and starts spraying around them and I saw water flying up on there cars so sure enough it had to have happened to mine. This kid was lucky I was in uniform or I would have given him on hell of an ass chewing.

When I got home I inspected my car to see if there were any water spots, most of them probably got dryed off from the drive back home. You can see a few water spots on my wheels, and the mother fucker threw mud all over the side of my car

What's wrong with people today?

Its really more a matter of ignorance than a lack of manners. People without nice stuff dont understand or appreciate the effort others go through to keep nice stuff nice. I would imagine that guy has probably never washed his car and if he did it was simply a run through the car wash. So he doesnt understand that we go through hours of detailing to make our cars flawless. He probably thinks your car is shiny because its new not because you just put in the effort to keep it like that.

He was just doing his job. Its not like he purposefully "ruined" your detail job. Wash your car again and get over yourself. Yeah, its annoying, but oh well.

Really? this thread is fail in my eyes. Your getting ass hurt over a few little water spots that quick detailer can take right off? Seriously. I know i would get upset, but i would wipe it off and get over it.

I'd be irritated but like I said, he was just doing his job. Its not that big of a deal. Cars get wet. Do you get in someones face after they drive through a puddle and get water on your car?

I'd have been pissed. I can stand ppl with no consideration for others. The guy is obviously a douche wrangler - prolly why he works at wendy's in the first place.

Oh, and it's "probably," not "prolly." I find it considerate to others to at least attempt to spell correctly.

We got a tough crowd around here today! I would have had to of been there to really make a judgement on the situation. I understand he was only doing his job but if I was him I would have tried my best to keep from splashing water and mud on customers vehicles.

In my opinion, his argument lost all power when I saw the pictures of the three dirt spots that is supposedly the "mud all over the side of my car!" And I can't even see what the fuck is supposed to be on the wheels, and I have a 32" monitor.

Let me guess, you got really pissed off, but drove off without saying anything to the guy, like, "Hey, man, could you try to show a bit more respect for peoples cars?" So now OP is all butt hurt and the guy has no clue he did anything wrong.

I see where the OP is coming from.

The Wendy boy was being disrespectful, deciding to blast water and dirt while him and others were in line ordering food.

The boy could have just as easily waited till the area was clear to do that, rather than wash the dirt onto their cars.

I'd be rather mad too.
