TBH tho i would rather watch a race where the cars were pushing the limit of the car with no aditional supports (wheely bar or anti wheely bar). I find it more impressive to be able to take a car, mod it, and win races without a wheely bar. I know you can only push so far in a RWD car without one but i find a lower HP car going slower is cooler then a car pushing high HP going super fast with a wheely bar. call me odd.

I find it more awesome for the simple fact that it is a 2.0L that needs a wheelie bar. He has the displacement of a 2 liter coke.

And he probably still gets like 20 miles to the gallon.

Not all of these cars run wheelie bars, this was just in the Outlaw vs Extreme class where they are allowed. The Radial cars are not permitted wheelie bars and they still run high 6s at 200+mph. The X275 cars are limited to a 275 width street tire and sissy stick but still run mid-high 7s at 170+mph.

That actually depends on how you measure a rotary motor. Techincally there are 3 sides to each rotar so you would times the displacement of one "stroke" by 3 to get the actual displacement of each rotar. Then think that the 20B has 3 rotors so you would times the total displacement of the first rotar by 3 to get your actual displacement. It's closer to a 6.0L I beleive by the time it all adds up. This is not how they measure it in reality but if you wanted to get technical, this is also correct. lol

That RX-8 runs on E85 and makes over 1200hp, I highly doubt it gets 20mpg. lol

I never knew that. I always thought it was measured the same way. And yea I know he doesn't get 20 mpg.

Mazda measures them by one side of the rotor and that's fine as that technically is one "stroke" or equivilant. However, there are two other sides unaccounted for. lol I think they said it burns up 1.5 gallons per 1/4 mile pass including the burnout which is obvnoxious for a rotary motor.
