too many cobra r's.....

so my best friend has an 01 gt and his stock bumper was fubar when he got it. he decided to put a cobra r bumper on it.

anyways he had the bumper for a while and i he took his car to firestone to do something i dont remember. and the guy hit the curb with the bumper and cracked it. firestone payed for the damages and cobra r bumper number 2 is on. he had this for a while and he let his dad take his car out, im at his house when he gets a call from his dad that he just hit a possum and broke the lip off the bumper. his dad didnt pay for it since he pays for his insurance so he just said sorry. my friend finally saved up enough money to get another bumper and he got one put it on. had this bumper for a few months and he was driving at night with only fog lights on and a cop blinked his lights and turned around and my friend in an attempt to get away hit a curb and once again broke the lip. all's good for a few more months, i got a call last night saying that this drunk chick dropped a gate on his front bumper and broke it. thats bumper number 5 on this car..... he's either getting stock or an 03-04 bumper since he has had such horrible luck with the r.

Im just going to ignore this statement.

If fiberglass is shitty, then why can a cervini fiber hood withstand the twisting of a 1500 hp 87MM precision Turbo?

The only down side is cracking if someone bumps you. But thats what Insurance is for

my fiberglass hood flew off my car going like 35 mph and it didnt crack!
it just chipped on the edge where it first made impact with the street and of course the part of the fiberglass that was attached to the hinge got ripped off

thats one tough hood
