well i think i can finally get back on the site, but i believe I am going to the dark side, aka. I am selling my car and getting a mr2 spyder, i've wanted a convertible for awhile and with my commute i need the gasmiliage,

and let the flame begin.

i thought about it, but i can get a very clean 00 mr2 with 50k miles for 10.5k that gets 35mpg city and it is as fast as my car is now so i'm not giving up performance.

Do your thing man in july I will no longer have this mustang I already have a buyer. I'm also going to the darkside but it's a navy blue 2000 Z28 LS1 6spd Camaro 70k $8500 but the gas will kick my rear oh well

add 1k and you could have yourself a clean GT thats just a "TAD" faster than your v6 and the mr2

not sure havn't been able to get a hold of 97 since the wreck, but my dad wants me to get a car with gas mileage so i am selling it.

Gas mileage aint that bad if you keep it below 3,000 rpms. Seems to be about the same if not a little bit better than the sixer.

Gas mileage aint that bad if you keep it below 3,000 rpms. Seems to be about the same if not a little bit better than the sixer.

yeah but a get about 5-10 more than the 6er with the mr2, plus mid engine rwd on the mountain will be fun lol.

and 97 broke his ankle in a 4 car pileup

dude, i got a mustang, and a convertible, and i get better gas mileage than the 6er and the mr2

and it isnt nose heavy so its a blast to drive on the mountain

that ls1 will make your mustang look like a 1 ton chevy truck with a 502 in it comparing gas ileage. its not unusual to see ls1 cars getting close to 30 mpg. also i think your better off sticking with the stang and going through with your plans on it

i dont like mr2's much. get an s2000 and turbo that

only honda i would ever think about owning. the car im driving right now, for fusion(rental car), is supposed to be getting 26mpg but right now only 17. i guess going to 6.5k rpms can kill gas mileage

lol that thing is sooooo slow! it literally took a minute to get to 100.

Well I already sold the S/C for the stang. I had a 5.0 93 5spd a Ford Lightning 93 and now this 99GT, and I wanna try to see what all this fuss is about on the LS1 I can't meet the price for a terminator so I'll go a step lower to an LS1 I driven Fords all my life and love every second of it but time to see what a Chevy can do ( but don't worry) in a year or two I'll hopefully find a good terminator!!

an as for gas mileage I wouldnt of expected that out of a 5.7L, guess you really do learn something new everyday!
