Kid trades a family man (father, husband, provider) a Jeep SRT8 for a $20k+ invested modded/built STi.

Kid posts look at my shiny new car thread.

Said kid brags about multiple other expensive cars and says he paid for them by cutting grass and flipping said cars.

Family man posts rip off thread about said kid trading him a stolen vehicle which was discovered to be stolen when he attempted to have service performed on vehicle at a dealership.

Family man reports this to cops, his new Jeep is taken, and now he is in debt since he was still paying on STi and had the loan rolled over to the SRT8

Kid gets flamed for being a DBag and won't reply to thread. Some one posts excellent meme of what is in the kid's future

Not offense to the guy who got ripped off, but how financially stupid do you have to be to get to the point where a car will put you into bankruptcy? If he was stretched that thin and that close to bankruptcy, he should have sold the Subi outright and bought a cheap reasonable vehicle.

According to him it was a bunch of recent events that lead to the lack of money. The SRT-8 got broken into and and lost A BUNCH, I think he said in the thread like 2K+, of stuff. How acurate that is, who knows.

I read the whole thing yesterday. The SRT-8 guy's bank had some insurance that covered what had happened so he had the loan wiped clean and didn't end up having to declare bankruptcy.

Either why, it sucks the kid still gets to keep the STI. I kinda liked the wheels, they're really eye grabbing. I wouldn't put them on anything I own, but they were neat to see.

The kid finally posted in the thread and claims its all lies So far the guy who traded the STI got fucked out of the STI and the Jeep...The kid who traded the jeep to him pretty much said "oh well your fucked" and doesnt give a fuck that he fucked the guy out of his car...

Kind of, but not really. The original subi (call him person A) owner still owed money on the car but needed a practical vehicle. He talked to the original Jeep owner (call him person B) and arranged for the sale. Since the Jeep is worth more than the Subi, it sounds like he took out a loan to make up the difference. Since the bank owns the title of the car, person A has to "clear" the loan on the subi to get the title for a sale. Instead of having a small loan for the Jeep and a loan for the subi, the bank rolls everything into one loan on the Jeep. The Jeep loan now consists of money borrowed to make up the price difference plus money originally owed on the subi.

Bottom line is that all the money is now borrowed against the Jeep. Person A was no longer paying for the subi, he was paying for the Jeep. Person A may not have a vehicle now, but he also doesn't have the car payment that he had before the sale.
