Alright, check it; I got my Fox 'Stang. 1988 body with a 1991 powertrain: 306 CID, B303 cam, shorties w/ H-pipe and flows to dumps, K&N filter kit, ZOOM stage IV race clutch, 8.8 w/ 3.73, U/D pullies, some more "thingies" I need not mention, ahem... And of course, me behind the wheel

I got this "buddy" with a '97 4.6 cammer 'vert. Its got a BBK CAI and a whole shitton of audio. Other than that, it's BONE stock. I jokingly told this cat I'd run him for pinks. He thinks his car is like wikkid fast. He's thinkin' real hard about it. This is his first fast car... He's like 20 or so. Been drivin' for a 'lil while.
I was out carvin' up hairpins and hittin' triple digits when this kid was learnin' to parallel park.

Should I really take my buddies car? What would I do with a 'vert? Is it not cool to literally rob your buddy of his ride?

Anybody been here before???????

Hell man...its all on the eyes of the beholder...if he's dead set to thinking he can whoop you then i would say go for it...like my mother said..."If you do anything stupid...i'll laugh at you to no end and then I'll let you learn the hard way."....i guess it all comes down to personal friendship with him. do you really want him to learn the hard way? or teach him the ropes to make sure he doesnt get royal screwed .

Isn't that a slang for ya'll OHC'ers? lol Correct me if I'm wrong. My ex has a 4.6 SOHC mod and I remember her chattin to some of her buddies and they call her car a Cammer.

But yeah, its stock. Other than a CAI lol

Nah its not a cammer...They just call it the mod motor...

If he had a cammer you would not pull him...The cammer engine is a 5.0L DOHC 4-valve...

I say race him...Beat him...And give it back and let him know to pick his races better...

I'll get with this dude and get a 2 outta 3 race set up. I'd prefer to do it at a track. Its safer, smarter, better conditions, and, well.... All my buddies will be there to witness.

Now, I can borrow a nitrous kit from another buddy and get it thrown on real quick. I can take this kid heads up no problem. With the N2O, it'll be a total slaughter. This would be done solely to humiliate him. Like some of you guys said, teach him to pick better races.

2. Drive out of the track (in his car r-e-a-l slow) and hard-ass it home.

3. Drive by his house late at night and downshift as you pass.

4. Take a roadtrip with all of your friends (not including him) in his car.

5. Go on a minimum of 4 dates in his car.

6. Post pics of it under your name on the internet.

7. Mail him the keys and tell him to come get the car, and pick his races
better.

Wednesday night is the test-n-tune at the local track. I'll see if I can get him to make an appearance then.

No, what you do is beat him(gotta not use the tree, and have someone use his hand, and say what he is doing as he is doing it), and then have the music at the end of this video playing really loud, as you drive down the track all emotional about the car (video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns0WpTHq0Y0 ).

Then give the car back.

The dick move would be to take all the parts that could fit on my car, and send em to me.
