Drove a new Shelby today :D

So I get a call from a friend saying his GF wants to come see my car while they are in town. So of course I agree and he says I can check out her car too but didn't say what it was.
When I look out the window after they arrive low and behold a new Shelby. Black with grabber blue stripes
I drove them around the block in mine then he asks if I wanted to drive the Shelby
Just thought I would share my fun for the day. Plus that supercharger whine

What are some of the best/nicest cars you have driven?

mmm nicest...

Lambo Diablo, twin'd s2000, Nismo 350z, Nissan GTR, 850whp 3000gt, a cherry as hell 67 GT (drove it about 6 feet to detail it), and other nummy cars most while working for a dealership. Being a lot manager had it's perks

My Dad's 1973 Corvette Stingray is the coolest I've driven....and that was when I was about 16. No power steering, no power brakes (i think) ....had to be a man to drive that sonofabitch.

My 1968 Pontiac Beaumont SD was like that. Manual steering, manual 4 wheel drum brakes. I always giggle when guys compare today's stopping distances:

"Yeah but the Mustang stops in 117 feet from 60mph and the Camaro takes an extra ELEVEN FEET!!!1"

.... lol. You'd drop a loaf in your pants if you ever had to make a panic stop from my Beaumont at ANY speed. You'd be BEGGING for a hundred feet and change stopping distance from 60. lol

Coolest car I've ever sat in was a 2000 Cobra R. Other than that, the coolest cars I've ever driven were my own: my Harley F-150 and my '03 Mustang. Yeah, I don't live a life other people are jealous of, but I'm satisfied with what I have.

My own cobra. Not trying to be an egotist or brag because it's really nothing special. I'm just a looser with no rich friends.

When I was 16 I drove my dads 84 vette. By my current standards that's a real dog of a car but at the time I thought it was awesome.
