I actually don't like the these new tablet computers...rather would stick with laptops. There's been several of these Apple vs The World threads and they never seem to end with any definitive answer to which is better.

I choose quality so Apple would be my choice.

I love love love the iPad2. I also love my android phone tho. Both operating systems are solid. I guess it just depends on what you want.

I don't have a problem with my iPad but I have never been able to play with the Samsung Galaxy, either. I hear good things about them though.

Just to clarify what I'm referring to, the iPad won't load the websites properly since there is flash embedded in the page. Android handles flash without issue.

I love both the ipad 1 and ipad 2. Never messed with a galaxy, but I have never had a great experience with Samsung either.

yeah..the flash thing is the ONLY thing I have issues with on my iPad...but whatI have came across is that most websites that use flash will have a mobile version as well so its not a problem

IPAD not using flash is a failure in itself but is part of Apple's holier then thou attitude IMHO...Although Flash is being replaced by HTML5...

Give it some time and it'll work itself out as flash is phased out, but yes, total fail on apple's part. I see these as glorified internet browsers, how can you do that without flash?

What do you guys use your pads for anyway? I have thought about getting one but I honestly can't see the point since I have a laptop and a smart phone.

yeah i do agree flash is being outdated for sure..
but. with my jailbroken iphone i can tether and use androids FAR FAR superior google maps navigation and have a big ass tom tom

I use mine for web browsing when I'm watching TV and reading news in bed when I wake up on weekends.

But yeah, this isn't a discussion of which device does more (*cough*android*cough*), but rather where your loyalties lie (Apple).
