Almost had the best hunt of my life this morning. My cousin and I got set up in a good spot I have been hunting and right at daylight a doe come running right by me, about thirty minutes later a 140+ class 8 point come out on the same trail she did, he was on the prowl but kept running in circles right around me, he finally comes out in the opening and never gave me a shot with my bow, he was litterally ten yards away from me, then he left and about fifteen minutes later a four point came out in the same spot but guess what I was doing.....Thats right, taking a piss. He stopped, laugh at my lack in size and continued after the pussy. Such a successful, yet unsuccessful day..

Don't feel too bad. I haven't seen a deer since opening day. I had a real nice 10 pointer stand broad side at 10 yards with an 8 pointer right behind him at 15 yards and couldn't shoot either because it was doe only. All I could do was watch them mill around and walk off. Hopefully I will get a second chance at one of them this coming weekend.

I was late replying cause I had to get some sleep before work tonight. He didn't catch me with my pants down but my weiner was out. I'm gonna be back in that same area tomorrow morning but in a better spot to watch that trail, hopefully luck will bring one of them back through there. Our season closes January 31st here, so I still have a couple weeks left to hunt.
