Sell or Trade my 95 for new 5.0??

ok well i came to houston on thursday and met up with Stephen (08GTCS)..drove his 2012 and completely loved it haha. Got me thinking that I really want one of those so did some research and found some really nice ones, really low miles for around 23-26k..figure i can finance it for about 6 years..My car is a 95 gt 5.0 with mods in sig. havnt gotten all of the h/c/i mods yet but just about have them all, and will be putting it all on. How much do you guys think i could sell my car for to put a little down payment on a new 5.0?
My dad told me to wait and get one until i turn 18 in september so i can put the car in my own name..should i wait? lol i really loved driving that 2012, so badass

im going to uti parents are going to pay for that for me and im gonna help them out with living expenses while im there..plus i work now and will be working when i go to uti

The Roush dealer I took you to today has 2.9% interest on their Mustangs. You need to buy one from there if you get serious about it. And the fact that I know the finance guy, service manager, and two of the salesmen there might help lol.

I don't know, maybe I'm from a different school of thought but just because they will support your financially, doesn't mean you should take advantage of that and roll around in a brand new $30k car.

I go to school full time and work two jobs and I find my car payment of $214.90 a month to be high relatively speaking for my living expenses, and I also make fantastic money.

I don't know dude, I just don't see that being a smart financial move.

still have some time to figure everything out..08gtcs can get me a killer deal on one and plus by the time i go to buy either a 2011 or 2012 gt the 2013 will be out and they'll probably be selling the 2011's and 12s for way cheaper to get rid of them, hopefully
im hoping to maybe get some roomates and pay my own rent and bills, idk everything yet, still have another year of high school to go thru to figure it all out

I'll certainly do my damnedest to help you out man. It would definitely be badass if you had one. Just make sure that you don't take too much of a risk in getting one. If there is even a slight doubt in your mind that you might not be able to pull a 5.0 car payment, don't do it.

You'll be more pissed at having the car and having it repossessed or being forced to sell it than you would at just waiting.

Houston Ford dealers. Manual transmissions, next to no options, only base models. Just 412 horsepower bolted to a piece of shit transmission. The dealers give good prices, rebates, and interest rates down here though.

Brought my car when i was 17 rolling body built that shit ground up. Pay insurance, pay cell bill. Aviation major at school so im broke all the time paying flight fees. Totally worth it.

Can't really manage a car payment at the moment though I wouldn't think. I doubt i'd be able to make a drive to Houston though in the 67. When I read cars and coffee earlier I though of the one in Addison. It was Taxman that said something about that one. I got confused
