Thanks for running that vin for me! I messaged him on facebook, and he ran the vin basically instantly while my mom was talking to the salesman. They gave a carfax, but I don't like carfax.

Thanks again! My mom is the new owner of a 2003 Ford Explorer... with a 4.6 in it! So that means she may end up with a set of cams or "a blower" hahah

I was thinking a nice little Vortech S trim and a set of blower cams... Make ya know around 400 to the tires... and then when it goes, put a little forged bottom end in it and Trick flow heads haha

actually a blower setup on that car would probably help the fuel mileage as long as im not driving it... and boost power by about 50 percent. Its got the almuminum block in it too... Maybe a stall convertor too! hahaha mom is gonna kill me one day if I were to do this stuff... The expedition I sold of hers was a 5.4 but I didnt feel comfortable supercharging it with the tolerences the 97-98 5.4s had and it had 170K miles on it when I sold it.
