Any bowlers in the house???

Just curious if there is any. Going to be hitting Baton Rouge for Nationals in July. Didn't know if maybe anybody else may be going or has gone.

I bowl, but I am not great by any means. I carry about a 187-195 average between two alleys.

Thats not bad, just a mark per game from holding a 200 avg.

Im with RZN, i've got a bowling alley right infront of my house. So i bowl ~1 a week. Averaging upper 190 to lower 200's usually.

I have 10 sanctioned 300's, two 299's and high series of 787. The 800 still eludes me.

The 7 actually cost me about $100 in the strike pot last night. Hammered the pocket and it didn't even wiggle.

So you bowled a scratch tournament, threw a 300, then didn't get a ring correct?

Most scratch tournaments put on by a bowling alley aren't sanctioned. If it isn't sanctioned then a ring wouldn't be awarded. If it was sanctioned and you didn't get a ring then you were indeed hosed. Unless you were not a ABC/USBC member at the time.

My high was a 258 but that was on wii bowling. I'm terrible at real bowling, I think last time I bowled a 120 something. I don't get to go as often as i'd like. Maybe 2-3 times a year

it WAS sanctioned, i was a registered member with USBC and they boned me =fuckit= walked out with 1st place trophy like a boss
