Best Buy uninstalling audio

i had my audio installed there and i want it uninstalled now, some places say if you bring original paperwork they will uninstall for free or very cheap and others say that it only counts for the head unit.

anyone have any past experience/info etc

theyve given mixed answers at both places lol.. it seems like it depends who you talk to

Why do you need someone to uninstall your stereo? Even if its a decked out system all you have to do to uninstall it is to remove everything and put the factory parts back in. Honestly, it doesnt get any simpler than that.

I worked for circuit city. When bet but put in your stereo they used a wiring harness so its unplug and plug your radio back in. So u can do it yourself or u can bring it back but there going to charge you.

what are you trying to get removed? it takes like 5min to remove a radio from a sn95 but maybe there is something else you are taking out even so its all easy to put in and remove on these cars.

Uninstall it yourself. Radios are easy as pie. As soon as you pull the headunit out you'll know if they cut the old harness and spliced it into the headunit harness or used an adapter (which most tend to). If they didn't cut the factory harness, it's as simple as unplugging it and plugging in your old headunit.

the gps part is ran under the main dash and the speakers are wired to the 4 channel amp i need them wired to the stock headunit
