Marines are our bread and butter they keep me safe. Im pretty sure whom ever they are peeing on is the bad guy and deserves it. Not morally right but in war who has morals?

War is nasty plain and simple but i wouldnt have allowed any of my troops from my guntruck to piss on the dead enemy. thats just me though.

Just wish they wouldn't have recorded it. War is kinda like vegas... no one takes a video camera to vegas and has something good come of it.

Those Marines are going to have the book thrown at them for giving the Marines bad PR. But it's possible the Corps might say they "couldn't find the Marines responsible" and sweep it under the rug.

Well as a former US Marine I'll tell you what he's doing is not right at all..all joking aside. We are taught to repect our enemy no matter what and hope they respect our dead if we are somehow in their hands.

Now, that said I don't know the circumstances with these young Devil Dogs on that particular day. This could be the bad guys that just killed 12 of their best friends (you know) personal matters make for cloudy judgement sometimes. I do know it's time to rotate these young men out for a break. I'd give that same advice if I were the only one to see them do this. Now that it's in the media....well...you know.

Something else I thought of is no one has actually said when the film was taken. Could have been in the height of the conflict and they could have been "in the shit" too long.

American's are so clueless about combat. Even though I've never be to a war zone I've studied enough military history to know that once that first bullet goes by your head or your friend's head explodes all the political shit goes out the window and it's about surviving and killing the enemy.

i love my marines... Even though i was born in Jamaica i have my citizenship now and I haven tons of friends in the marines and army. We need to shoot the dick who took the pic.

true Alot are clueless about combat I assume that Stangluvr has combat experience I know i have 1st hand experience of it after 4 deployments and it is about surviving and killing the enemy but them standing over bodies after shit has hit the fan and they are just pissing on bodies is a no go. Military bearing some have it some dont some try to make sure the soldiers under them use their military bearing and others dont and allow some troops to run wild and undiciplined. So pissing on dead bodies after bullets have stopped flying doesnt fall into the category of "political shit". And there is no experience like first hand experience and to be clear not all troops have 1st hand experience bc the majority of them dont ever leave the camp/fob.

shouldnt be taking pics left and right over there anyway esp of dead bodies. I wonder why and how those pics were leaked.

there is ALOT that goes on but doesnt get spoken about. But th things that happen over there should stay over there instead of ppl feeding this stuff to the media.
