virtual Camero Vs real Mustangs

Ok I'm sure you have all seen the virtual races on Motor Trend's web site? Well the virtual or should I say make believe Camaro is kicking the crap out of the real Mustang, and now my wife wants the Camero. Chevy claims it will be priced comparable to the mustangs in each of the three classes, V6, V8, and GT500.

My thoughts on it are if Chevy tries to price this dream machine like Ford they will either loose their butts or the car is going to be trip trap. What are your ideas about this demonstration, or should I say Motor Trends virtual brain anurism, assumption.

To (ASSUME) to make an ASS out of U and ME! Is Chevy making ASSES out of Motor Trends editors, you all tell ME!

P.S. If I check it out and it is what they say and the price is as good as Fords I'm getting my wife one, nothing like taking advantage of a big car maker trying to make a come back! LOL

its rumored to be priced around $25,000 - $35,000

if the history lives on of the camaro killing the stang yearly i wouldnt be suprised if the new one does too

Yea, Ford is usually the slower one, but when we make some power...we make some power.

yeah but, you have to supercharge a ford to make it fast. no need to do so when ya start out with a big motor that can breath. just wait, i bet the camaro will pretty much dominate the stang in all of the classes they will be competeing in. maybe not sell more, but def have better performance

they are in a heavy body again, but we will see. I think they will do alright, but they def wont outbeat the Mustang in sales. I heard a rumor they are gonna put the ls2 in the maro...anyone know if thats true?

idk the camaro has a huge following not seeing a new one in so many years i bet the bow-tie junkies be out in full force buying them up i know at a local delership theres a pretty extensive waiting list

im not for sure which motor is going into the base z28 but i bet it has over 400 hp and who knows what the SS will have

I just don't know about their bottom line though, to develop, market, and beat the mustang in all areas while pricing them to match mustang, well I want to see it!

It's gonna be interesting...thats all I know. I'm excited about the challenger coming back also. Also the Nissan GT-R, Shelby GT500KR, Corvette Blue Devil, and some other cars that I won't see much of if at all(like I'm gonna any of the Blue Devils, or KRs) like the new NSX, Aston Martin Rapide, Ferrari F430 challenge Stradale, and Jaguar XF. Yea the Evolution X is commin out, but damn it has a pig nose thats really ugly.
