+1
it was Randy Moss who said "I'm rarely giving 100%, all the guys are rarely giving 100%"... may sound odd but he was being honest. The ones that do are willing to show their emotion because the game always will mean something to them....not just a check to purchase another Lambo.

This was immediately after he made two beautiful plays made that ended up with a touchdown with amazing play from the entire team. Perfect throw and equally perfect catch in HEAVY traffic.

If anyone followed the 49er's for the last 8 years, he/she would also understand the distance Alex Smith (quarterback in this play) has come and the difficulties and criticism he has overcome. Not trying to be mello-dramatic, but Vernon Davis (seen here) had the game of his life and was also VERY heavily criticised for a couple years.

Then you shouldnt hate tebow, you should hate the fans

Imagine if Tebow was any religion except Christian. If he was Islam, and would bow towards Mecca or something, and anyone made fun of that, there would be a fucking shit storm and flurry of lawsuits so quick. Christianity is pretty much the only religion that can be openly mocked (maybe scientology too) without consequence.

Can be openly mocked, but to do so, has its consequences

I don't know if Tebow will ever be a great quarterback. He may be a good QB, but I don't see him being a great QB. I could see him being a good QB like Vick or Palmer. But I can not see him being among the greats like Manning, Brady, or Rodgers.

With that said, that's why I don't understand all the media attention he gets. Yes he seems like a guy who is a good Christian guy and a nice person. But the media hypes him up like he's this spectacular player. As it is now, I don't think he's any better of a player then Rex Grossman.

I don't hate the man by any means. I think it's good to have someone in the league who looks like they'll be a good role model. I just don't understand all this talk about how great he is (b/c he's not that great).

if any other QB goes 11 for 27, and on the 16 incompletes he misses by a mile he gets pulled. Tebow is good person but sucks as a QB. Eli has won a super bowl and fans think he's trash. Tebow, couldn't hold Eli's jock strap but he has earn the right to start. Can't wait for next year to see the Tebow love go on when they go 5-11.
