New Project

I posted somethin about this in the visual section but figured id post it here too. Im going to be undertaking a huge project turning my hood into a 04 gt hood w/ scoop. All of the fiberglass work will be done by me... including the hood scoop. There was a green mustang that put just the hood scoop on his car and it looked decent, but it was missing something.. and i figured out what it was... its the scoop tray (as i call it). i will be fiberglassing the scoop tray and the scoop onto my 96 hood. i will post up pics of my progress and everything once i start the project. it will take a while due to my work schedule but it should be a lot of fun. this is what im aiming the hood to look like.. except the hood on this 98 gt is actually a photoshopped 04 gt hood

i have a body kit on my car so i think the hood will flow excellent with it. it will be completely custom because there is no hood or kit on the market that makes this... woohoo! as soon as i get the dimensions for the hood scoop i will start my work!

gonna be a bit of work to get a new edge style hood to fit a sn-95. Good luck with it. We want pics of it too. I think it will look good. Thats why I like the new edge so much is because the lines are more aggressive. Don't get me wrong...the 90's cars with streamline style of lines are my thing, but for the Mustang...It's the aggressive lines that get me.

im not gonna take the new edge hood and put it on my car... im gonna make my hood into a new edge looking one. it will be the stock hood with fiberglass laid on it to look like the new edge style... i think itll be sick... if i can get it to look right... it will be one hell of a project though.. ill be runnin around with no paint on my hood for a while... good thing the stock hoods are fiberglass and wont rust

and if anyone wouldnt mind... if they have a 99-04 hood with the scoop... taking a lot of pics of it... from the sides, front, top, and close up front of the hood scoop it would be greatly appreciated!
