Well not always with running. That's not explosive over time. I ran from August to December non stop 7 days a week with the shortest distance ever being 7 miles. I might be different though. I'm not the fastest kid in the world. But definetely the fastest kid on this forum for distance running. I never burnt out. I know kids that did yeah I agree you can. But I nor my teammates never did.

Yes, you can work out 7 times a week, but that's only if you do 1-2 body parts a day.

It's foolish to do 3 body parts a day, every day. Also, I wouldn't do a particular body part more than 2x a week, like some people bench 3-5x a week. If you push yourself hard on that body part, and keep your workout varied, you should be sore for at least 2 days, so you shouldn't do that body part for 2 more days. (Now this is for non-juicing people, and there may be an exception to the rule here and there, but this is true for almost everyone)

Asiansensation, you said you kept pushing your maxes:
what are your maxes, how tall are you, and how much do you weigh?
Regardless of how much you lift, the after pictures are pretty impressive, good job man. Good to see people working out hard and eating right. You did it the right way, lots of hard work. Not the easy way out, like a hardcore fat burner or roids, etc.

Thanks dude, I forget what my stats were back then, but I think I ended my cut at 163lbs @ 9% BF. I'm 6'0, currently 180lbs @ 12.8% BF.

I honestly don't know what my 1RM is, but I can push the following for 3 reps:
Bench: 205
Deadlift: 275
Clean & Press: 115
Front Squat: 295
Back Squat: 135 (lol I suck)

Yeah, the suit does help, but that man's still a monster.

When I squat I always were compression shorts. I seem to do a little more with them, and my muscles and form feels a little tighter. Oh, I wear high top old school Converse when I squat too. Don't know if I've already explained it on this site or not, but it makes a huge difference compared to squatting in running shoes or even air basketball shoes, trust me.

Oh, I just remembered to switch up my workout. I've been doing the same workout for too long, where my sets were usually 3-8 reps. I was getting stronger slowly, but wasn't really too sore. I decided to go 20-15-10-8 rep sets. Did chest and triceps yesterday, and I feel it today, much more than a normal workout. Gonna stick with it for a few workouts.

My Stats and goals:
Bench: 205x8, 250x1 (want to get to 275 by August)
Squat: 295x4, 330x1 (want to get to 350 by August)
Clean and Jerk: 135x5 (at least, don't really do it anymore, bad back)
Deadlift: Horrible since torn ligament in back (was at over 300, want to get to 315)
Weight: 159lbs (want to get to 170 soon)

Bye, going to the gym now

Ya know... I've never seen a small muscle lift a big weight, and I've yet to see a 159lb 5'10 dude bench 250 or squat twice his own body weight lol

If they're working out the same muscle group everyday, then they're retarded. That gives the muscles no time to recover. Now if they're doing different groups everyday, then yes, it can be beneficial.

Going off your OP, I have a feeling they're only working out their upper bodies.

I still don't have the healthiest diet, but ive noticed if I wait a day or two after i work out, i maintain a similar weight but i look more defined and not such a fat ass

you have to give your muscles time to rebuild, unless you want to cut weight in muscle too, which to me defeats the purpose of lifting weights

if thats all you care about just go 100% cardio

Asiansensation: 5'10" 159 isn't "small muscle" trust me.
Believe me now, or do I need another picture, or a video?

Here's another one (don't want my face floating around here)

And I'm not even close to the strongest person at my school, even pound for pound.
(one dude weighs less than 200 and benches over 400, I promise, and another guy weighs like 230 and squats 500 or so)

Damn, no legs? Lower body is the best part of a workout, lol.
I guess it's because unless you're in a speedo, boxers, or compression shorts no one sees your quads or hamstrings. Also it sucks to be so sore for a few days after a good leg workout.
Getting your legs stronger has so many real world uses too. Jumping higher, running faster, lifting things easier, kicking harder, etc. My vertical increased so much from squats and stuff. (30+ vertical leap)

You're right, their workout is terrible.
I'd do one of 2 workouts:
(1) Chest, shoulders, triceps one day/ legs, back, biceps 1 days later, rest one day, repeat (4 workouts a week, about)
(2) Chest and triceps one day/ back and biceps the next/ legs and shoulders the next, rest one day, repeat (6 workouts a week, what I do now)

If anyone has a different routine/schedule that works, lets hear it.

Looks OK to me. Appears as if you're fresh for each muscle group by the next workout (ex: your triceps aren't still sore when you do chest)

I don't know if chest alone is the best idea or not. If I'd have to do one thing alone it would be legs, they drain you the most. Your workout seems fine though. Nothing interferes with anything else, good job.
