Go get you some gas FAST!
If your in the south east you better go get some gas. Rumors are swirling that fuel delivery was stopped to our states because of problems from Katrina. Fuel is expected to exceed $4 per gallon and many gas stations will be running out of fuel by tonight.

Bush finally release some of the governements stockpile barrels. Hopefully that will ease prices a bit. Where I live, Illinois, the governor is talking about removing the state tax which would end up being about $.14/ gallon.

Gas at some of the gas stations here in Valdosta is GONE, many are still selling gas but some of those are rationing it. Yes, correct I said rationing... only allowing $10 in gas per customer.

i went to 3 gas stations before i found one that wasnt sold out of gas. i filled up 10 gallons for just under 30 bucks lol

holy hell, i'm glad i'm done driving for the next 6 months. hope you guys get some gas soon, that really sucks.

Seems like most of the southern states, close to the damage are really hurting. I saw a lot of that on the news. Here the gas is $3.09, but I have yet to see a station OUT of gas. I hope they don't run out, I'd be stranded at home and my dad wouldn't be able to work since hes a courier.

i was moving stuff out of my grand mothers yesterday and when i got there it was 2.799 a gallon and then 1 hour later i went out side and the station was at 3.179.

if you haven't filled up yet, you might want to do it NOW... oil just went over $100 a barrel... look for a huge jump in gas prices now...

over 4 bucks a gallon here in augusta, ga area. in atlanta, price gouging is putting it at nearly 7 bucks a gallon and a limit of 10 bucks per purchase

So you get like a gallon and a half of gas, how the hell does that even help anyone?! There's no point in even getting gas at all then. I'm afraid that I'm not gonna be able to get to school in a few weeks if gas rises so much. If there's a shortage, what are we all gonna do? |

i waited 20 minute sin line for gas yesterday. the lines today are over an hour wait and block an entire lane of traffic for over a mile at EACH gas station. once they get the pipeline fueling the E back up again, prices should subside. might be a month before it is lower though?

That's crazy! I guess there are other supply lines up here because we have nothing like that occurring here. I hope it doesn't get any worse for you guys.

it has now settled down some. and prices are under 4 bucks everywhere so thats a good sign. about 3.50 a gallon here in E GA

Jesus christ, this is the reason why gas prices are going up. People topping off their tanks and buying as much gas as they can because they belive we are going to run out.
When people are so sure that gas is going to go up to a certain amount, gas companies see it as an oppurtunity to raise the prices. |
