RSX's are really nice cars, and there is a HUGE aftermarket for Hondas, as well as all the online help you could shake a stick at. The only downside is that 90% of them are modded by kids that think a CAI and exhaust tip make them race cars, so the scene is a bit immature.

So unless you're coming out cash positive on the trade, the gas savings are not a viable reason to trade. And I doubt you are cash positive because the lost value in the Mustang, especially one with mods, will be alot. And Acuras hold their value alot better than Mustangs.

Just letting the world know that you secretly just wanna join the rice community
To add to that, the new car will need titled, registered and plates transferred. Where I'm from that runs about $75.
You'll have to pay tax on the new car as well. How much is the car? If its a $6k car and you pay 6% sales tax that's another $360. Are you financing the car? What will be the difference in interest rates on the old car vs. the new?

My friend just got an RS-X and he loves it, its fast, handles well and gets great gas mileage, I love the seats in it.

If you're driving 70 miles/day, you might also look at the mileage you would have going from your 3.73s to 3.27s.

Now, buy what you're gonna be happiest with, of course. If you WANT the RSX, buy the RSX.

Honda's are a spunky little car, mind you i personally wouldn't give up my car for one. Everyone in my area are running 90's civics, celica's, bmw's, subi's, mitsubishi's, vw's and so on. Im the only one driving a mustang.

Good luck with the new ride dude.

I like the newer acura's. The new civics are not for me. Ive been in a '12 SI and its still just a little spunky car.

Chris, would you rather drive your old '02 GT or your new acura? Honest question right now. I'm curious as towards i rather drive the '96 more then the '08. Both fun cars, but the '96 feels like a race car compared to the '08. The '06 300 we have, has the tiptronic shifter and its fun to play around with, reminds me sort of a rachet shifer.

I would rather drive the Acura...The acura is peppy and fun but has all the luxury perks to make the drive extremely enjoyable...Also people arent always trying to race you like they did in the mustang...

Lol the Mustang is a lot louder and flashier than the civic, I think it's just because civic with Type R bumpers = RACECAR!

OP make sure you put on a fart can, 747 wing, and a bunch of stickers. You'll get atleast 300rwhp from that alone.

why not buy a beater car for cheap , save the gas and wear and tear on the mustang. You'll still have a cool car to drive whenever the mood strikes.

I always have some pos to beat around in, go to the parts store, hit the junkyards, or take out in crappy weather while my stang has an easy life in the garage . I paid $1,200 for a used escort that got 30 mpg. Besides oil changes the only thing that needed fixing was the rear brake lines and front brake pads. I had it for 5 years and sold it for $ 700 to my friends stepdad who's still driving it around. Now I've got an old ford ranger that serves the same purpose.
