new law#2 well not new more toned down. so no more 5 day waiting period to buy a gun no backround checks performed by the local sherrifs department. just a quick 15 minute call to the fbi from the gun seller for a backround check. which a dilusional skitzo homicidal psychopath could pass and there ya go all yours. the fbi check does not contain the section that says if you have ever been admited to a mental health institution nor does it red flag people currently being tried for crimes (you can see where this is a bad idea)

so basically feel free to shot someone off of your porch all ya gotta do is say they were trying to break in their not going to tell the cops otherwise their dead. if you get all pissed off at someone and feel the urge to kill someone or shoot up a school or workplace because your pills arent working anymore feel free to run to the local gun shop pick up the gun and be killing away before lunch

k for one, Oklahoma has this exact same law. no the death rate has not gone up from gun shots. thats just stupid. it gives the right to defend yourself and your family and your property. as with the old law, if someone broke into your house, you has to run and hide and just pray and hope that they weren't going to do any harm to you. and if you did kill someone who was going to cause harm to your family, then you could go to jail or prison for protecting them. that law is to cover that from happening.

as for the delusional schizoid who comes in to buy a gun, not gonna happen. we have this same thing in Oklahoma. you can walk in any time and buy a gun as long as the sheriff or fbi passes on you you can have the gun. now whenever you buy a gun you must fill out a yellow p[aper that asks lots of ?S. some of those are about mental stability, now if your a freak like your saying, the gun shop worker is going to notice something and will refuse the right to buy the gun. I've seen it happen. also if you lie on that piece of paper, its 20 yrs in prison.

that new law will help out a lot of people who will later on be in a position's where deadly force is more than justifiable and they will be able to use it without any courts or chances of going to prison. if you do kill someone even under this law, you better damn well prove that your life was at risk, and if it was not, your ass is going to jail. killing someone because they wont get off your property is a ticket straight to jail. that person you kill better be fixing to cause you or your family harm. you need to read more into the specifics of the laws before you go off sprouting useless bullshit about what you think in liberal head.

drgnracin72; Exactly right about the FBI/Sherriff B/G check. When I worked at a Wal-Mart years ago(think '99-'00) I was in charge of the Sporting Goods Dept. We sold firearms and had a multi-question FBI created sheet for the customer to fill out, then had to call in and verify that all the information was accurate(punishable under law) and have the conversation recorded, on both ends.
