Looking for a suped up Mustang for a film in NCal.

Hi everybody,

I'm not sure if I posted in the right place. I'm a filmmaker in Northern California, Sacramento area, and I'm looking for a clean, suped up mustang for a film I'm going to be shooting in late July early August.

If I posted in the wrong place, I do apologize. I've been told that moderators would be able to move the posting to the correct location??

All I need the car for is establishing shots, b-roll of driving, etc. ZERO damage will be done during the filming process. I do not plan on having any chase scenes or pyrotechnics. In fact, I'll even have your car detailed and gas will be covered.

Damn, mine's the antithesis of clean, hahaha.

Do you know more specifically what bodystyle you're looking for? Are you wanting a classic, a foxbody, or a newer model?

What sort of souped-up? Are you looking for something that looks like it runs 9s on the dragstrip? Or a high-end show car? Are you looking for something with a supercharger sticking through the hood?

Looking for a more recent body style or an old classic. Not looking for a funny car/ racecar. More of a show car. Something that would be easily recognized if you drove past it. Racing stripes are okay. Supercharger sticking out of the hood is okay. The car just needs to look CLEAN!!

Northwest is generally Oregon, Washington, and sometimes Idaho. California usually groups with Southwest.

I'm currently coming out of pocket for this film. I'm trying to get the film funded, but as of right now I won't be able to fly anyone to California for the film. I do like your car though!! It's clean!!

As we get closer I will look at the budget to see what I can do as far as compensation but, again, at least gas will be provided along with meals and a copy of the film when it's finished.

I had a professional script writer write the script. She currently has a script being pitched at Sundance and another project that was pitched to the producer's of MadMen. I've gotten pretty good feedback on the script she wrote for me already and I'm in the pre-production process for the film.

So if you know anywhere else I can post or if you know someone out on the West Coast, Bay Area, or Sacramento region, to be more specific, please let me know or them know. I would greatly appreciate it!!

LEGEND and ANOTHER... you both have really clean rides!! Again, I'll see what I can do about the budget, or lack of. I am planning on having some fundraisers for the film. I will keep you posted.

WISH... I will be posting a link to the website for the film once that is up and ready. The film is called Falling Star. It's a 10 minute short, but I'm looking for some epic car/driving shots including some aerial shots.

Sounds like a really cool idea, I would have been interested but being in Texas this is not possible. Good luck with the short film though, can't wait to see it
