Post up your model car collection!

I used to have a bunch of them.. I built several when I was a kid. It was kind of an obsession..

Every time I went to wal-mart, I'd see what was new.

Since I made them all as a kid and hand painted them with testors paint and a paintbrush, the paint on them was pretty crappy. I ended up crushing (lol) most of them and threw them away about a year ago, with the exception of a few die cast ones ('55 Chevy truck, '70 Chevelle) and 2 of the latest plastic ones I made (1950 Chevy 5-window truck and '70-ish VW).

The only reason I kept the VW was because I painted it the way I wanted to paint my real VW. Plus, I always liked the '47-'53 Chevy trucks.

A few I've made over the years: '55 Chevy hardtop, '57 Chevy Bel-Air, '57 Corvette Gasser, '70 Chevelle (painted it like my dads '69), '55 Corvette, '69 Dodge Charger (General Lee), GTO Judge, a Nascar (I think it was a Jeff Gordon car but I painted the body black)

There were a few others too. Lots of Chevys.

Since each car came with 3 or 4 different sets of rims, it got to the point where I had a jar full of miscellaneous tires and rims.. so I would put cool looking rims on the models that came with stock looking ones.

I never was all that great at finishing the put together ones. I had a 98 Saleen and the paint turned out great until I taped a piece on it to let the glue dry and it peeled the paint off

the only one I have actually fully finished was a Dodge lil red express truck.
Since i'm older now I figured I could finish one maybe so I bought this a little while back
1:12 scale Shelby

Only thing finished so far is the motor and wheels, I need to go buy some Grabber blue paint

and I'm trying to get a yellow SN95 Saleen.

I'm wanting them to make that in 1:18 scale soon. Preferably Autoart, the 1:24 is cool but I like the detail that comes with 1:18

I will have both 2012 Boss mustangs available once I get it. I really want to see a Race Red with White stripes diecast.

I'm not even picky on what color as long as it's in 1:18 scale. I want that and a 99-04 Roush but I know that will never happen. Don't see why either considering there is the 05-09 Roush and the 2010 verts.

Going to a Jack Roush appearance in april and going to have him sign it. I want the 99-04 model because my mom has a 01 Roush vert, which is also getting signed in april.

Well I finally got some pictures of my "collection". I had about 10 more, but I threw them away when I rearranged my room. They were just normal plastic models.
