My review of the movie "The Grey" (spoiler alert)

I left this movie with tears in my eyes. Overall it was a great movie about survival and a human beings ability to push on, and sometimes give up when the pain is too much. Liam Neeson was awesome in this movie, great acting across the board. The movie really makes you feel like you are going to be killed any second, either by the cold or the wolves... Quite a few jumpy moments i might add, sheesh.

****SPOILER****

The movie does kinda ask the question of "is there a god, or an afterlife"? You gotta see it to understand what i mean. One scene towards the end has Liam shouting out to "God" to do something, and nothing happens.... Liam is left there to die and fend for himself. Powerful scene.

PS oh and seriously this movie will make you want to have a drink afterwards hahahahaha.

Hmm... I wanted to go see it at one of these newfangled eat-in theatres they have out in Jersey. Sadly, I didn't realize I needed to make reservations so I took my ass on the hour long ride back home without seeing it that night. Now I know it's worth the trip back just to watch with a beer in hand, I guess.

Although, I'm skeptical of movie reviews from y'all after Drive was given a bad review on here. I finally just watched it last week and it's my favorite movie from 2011, by far.

You know i seriously have got to apologize about my thoughts on Drive in the post i made/replied to. In fact i have it on my desktop right now, i watch it from time to time, it is a very infectious movie. I watched it a second time and i was hooked. I love the chemistry between him and that blonde chick forgot her name lol.

Seriously though, go see The Grey. Awesome movie man. Quite sad also.

Making a reservation for Friday now. I still really want to try this dine-in theatre business, too. Beer + movie theatre = awesome. Last time I got to do that was back when I was living in Greece and watched a Pink Panther marathon in Athens where drinking isn't just offered, it's encouraged.

I saw "The Grey" the night it came out and completely loved it too! Very very awesome movie, by far the best out of the 3 I've seen in the past 2 weeks (the others being Contraband and Underworld: Awakening) I plan on buying it when it comes out on blu-ray ASAP
