Havn't slept well in days

Ok, so remember how I had posted a while back that I was having trouble seeing? Well I finally got into the eye doc to get it checked out and it turned out that I have two ulcers on my cornea...sounds worse than it is, they don't hurt at all and they should clear up just fine...with these eyedrops...

Whats driving me really insane however is the eyedrops that I have to put in 4 times a day for two weeks...they have an antibiotic, a steroid, and an amphetamine in them...now a couple drops isn't enough to make you feel anything but it does make it god damn near impossible to get any real sleep. Makes you feel like you chugged a couple of energy drinks.

So anyone got any tricks to try that'll help me get some sleep?

And no, I can't just get shwasted McQueer.

Workout before? If your back allows it.

Or

NyQuil or Benadryl!

Wait new idea, watch a documentary with Ben stein as the narrator (or a boring documentary in general)

Go for a run right after you use the eye drops. It will wear your body out and you will just pass out. :dunnno

I used rodos (sp?), there just a super strong version of visine but they make you have that awake alert feeling also. It made it hard to get off video games, considering thats what caused my eyes to hurt.

I used to use Rodo's during the summer

They as far as I know don't have stimulants in them though.

I'll try the benadryll tonight, completely forgot that usually makes me way drowsy.

Go buy a heavybag and stand. Punch the bag for 10-15 minutes FULL power until you feel as if you are going to die.

Take a warm shower.....and i guarantee you that you will want to pass out.

This is gonna sound girly..

I drink this tea, called "Sleepy time EXTRA" It has Valerian root in it, its a mild sedative, it really helps me get to sleep.

My mom drinks that "sleeping tea" shit helps her a lot.. She has insomia pretty bad too!

Melatonin for Sleep: Hormone and Supplement Effects on Sleep

Although I don't know how well it will work for you. I took one with a dr.pepper(caffeine) and got a few hours sleep, then I was tossing and turning the rest of the early morning. And I am not a caffeine lightweight.

Tried the Tea, Kaity's really big on it but it didn't do much for me. It's minty though which I like.

I don't do drugs anymore, otherwise I'd smoke a joint and pass the fuck out no problem,

Go to a natural food store and pick up some melatonin pills. They help me whenever I cant get to sleep and you dont get addicted to them.
