I miss my 2000 GT

I sold my 2000 GT about 3 months ago so my wife and I could get a small SUV. We ended up getting a very clean 2005. Mazda Tibute and love it but I miss y mustang so much. I found one right up my alley.

2000 Ford Mustang GT V8 Low Miles

The color, body, and drivetrain I want. It looks to be perfect mileage wise, etx as well as I am a huge fan of low miles. The only isse of my wife will not let me finance anything. Am I screwed?!

I know financially it may not be the best idea nor do I want a payment, but just to have another "lady" in my life if you will would make me very happy.

Nice car and decent miles also and there isnt a Damn thing wrong with an auto unless you're in High School in an auto vs manual argument lol. Jump on it its nice!!!

No, seriously guys, my wife will not let me pay $250 per month or whatever a payment would be. TO be honest, we have only been married 7 months and have little to to money saved at the moment because we just bought out Tribute and payed cash and we also own a house.

She understands my passion/obsession for cars but will absolutely not let me finance anything. We have student loans ad a couple of credit cards to take care of but were not wildly in debt or anything....

I also dont want a car payment, but I desperately miss my GT and need something to occupy my necessity for modding and owning a very clean Mustang. There is my next point; if I get it, I will only want to continue to put money into it when in reality, we should be saving for our future. I know, I sound hella old school but thats how I see it.

With all of that being said, I guess I posted to look for advice whether or not financially this is the right decision and if you folks out there believe in car payments when you don't necessarily "need" another car.

I would straight trade somebody right now for a auto if they live close enough.

They get a brand new dfx clutch and flywheel maybe 300km on it?
I hate driving stick, I tinted my windows for a damn reason and now I cant take full advantage of them......

Its a childish argument IMO dont think anyone gets butthurt. I dont get why manual drivers think there Stick is bigger (PI)

I doubt auto guys get 'butthurt" at a dragstrip either. ANYWAY i learned how to drive a manual 16 years ago but Im not able to drive a manual with comfort anymore.
