its awesome, they never called a snow day in the last two years and there were some bad weather.

Its 62 and sunny here... We have yet to see a lick of snow at all. So pissed... I cant even find anywhere to go boarding at this winter. Usually you can atleast count on Salt Lake or Tahoe but even they are pretty dry. Saw a news report from SLC last week where they were on the lift and it was just grass and rocks below them.

yeah its been shitty on the mountains here up til a couple weeks ago when it actually had some decent snow. I'm hoping 10 inch tomorrow so my friend would bail on his gf to go boarding with me

i haven't fully enjoyed powder yet... just some on the side of the runs by the trees where all the noobs avoid.

Yeah but even the groomed snow ( minus where the snowcat tracks are ) are a million times nicer than anything fresh on the east coast.

Once the sun starts setting it literally turns into a sheet of ice. Thats why when I go to the east coast I get out around 8am and get off the slopes by 4 and start drinking then... After 4 is when people start getting hurt trying to maneuver on the ice.

Here in the east our winter has been super mild too. We'd get 8 inches and then a week later it's 45 degrees out. At least some of our mountains have man-made snow and it's colder up there but it's super icy.

yeah i enjoy groomed snow every now and then. its been icy for most parts of the season. i usually get there by 8 and leave before 4 too. by the end of the day, it's just real shitty.

Pretty much. Roundtop is perfect for me...I don't pay for to go there and it's close. It'll do just fine until I take a West Coast trip.

I'm jealous. We were THE ONLY school in Central and North Eastern Colorado that was open today. People were slipping all over the place; it was ridiculous. I will never understand why UNC refuses to close. We've only had 7 snow days in the last 22 years. Absolutely stupid if you ask me. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Ask the good people at CSU what I'm talking about. lol.
