Dog may have to be put to sleep...what would you do?

I couldn't imagine putting one of my dogs down. Best of luck in your decision.

Something else to consider, most animals may appear to be not in pain when they in fact are. Animals tend to hide pain, it would make them a target in the wild, though many times removed from the wild these traits remain.

well...My gf told me yesterday that she is bringing him home today..She said the vet told her they were able to express his bladder without putting a catheter in, and they say when they press on his legs from the bottom he appears to be pushing back a little, saying it may be coming back. I'm not sure how i feel about this..on the one side its great that he doesnt have to be put down but their is alot more that she has to worry about then this dog...i dont want to put her business out their but in short i dont want her to put everything she has into him without thinking about other things that require attention. (not me, i have gotten used to coming in second with her and her animals)
