My CD wont play now wth?

So I bought a CD, a real one in a music store, and now it wont play. My wife put it on Itunes, and later I tried to play it from the laptop disc drive. It said "you dont have permission blah blah". My wife said just play it from Itunes, but why the hell should I have to? I tried it in my truck, which worked before, and it just ejects with an error message.

Another reason why I hate Itunes.

Im pretty sure that Itunes can't physically harm a disc.

I didnt think anything could overwrite a bought CD, but it seems that is so. Could my Toshiba laptop have converted it or something?

one time when i was little and still discovering what's possible in life, i discovered that putting the need for speed PC game in a CD player to listen to the game's soundtrack isn't possible in life, and it renders the game unplayable after doing so.

I used to do that all the time with my Playstation games, and even a few PC games too. It never harmed them..

Type the error message exactly as it appears in a google search box. I'm sure somebody out there had the same error, and they figured it out.

Better yet, post it here. I'll see what I can find.

lol its the music companys stoping piracy, you see once you copy it from the CD you cant copy it to another computer... MUAHAHAHA its so you only get the song once

(mind the fact that its actually easier to just copy the mp3 then email it to your friend)

I gave up and burned a new disc, it just pisses me off though.

I would have gone into computer management and checked for errors on the disc drive.

That, or restarted the computer and tried again.

It wouldnt work in my vehicle either, but it did that morning.

Butlerana, whoever you are, I'm calling your ass out. Just by looking through your previous posts here on MM, every time you post, it's either something vague or a word-for-word copy of someone elses post, and then you include some dead [img] links that only appear if I quote you.
